JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The South Central Homeless Coalition is entering the final stretch of their Blessing Bags Drive in an effort to help out the areas homeless population.

The coalition has partnered with the Jamestown Ministerial Association, Triumph Inc., and Edgewood Senior Living to fill the bags with essential care items to people experiencing homelessness or other hardships.

“Thank you so much to everyone who has already been collecting and donating these much needed supplies,” Cassie DuBray states. “The last time we checked, we were in need of hygiene cleaning products. [This includes] shampoos, conditioners, soaps and the like, but any new/unused donation will be welcome.”

In January 2017, there were 1,089 persons documented as experiencing homelessness in North DAkota, with 178 being under the age of 18.
