SEBRING, FL (NewsDakota.com) – Some University of Jamestown students are currently in Florida spending their Spring Break building homes for those in need.
The University of Jamestown Habitat for Humanity team has been in Sebring, Florida for almost a week helping an area that was affected by hurricanes last year. Junior Teagan Skunberg is spending her third year with Habitat for Humanity.
Students have spent the last few days laying sod, digging fence posts, and building homes for those in need in the community of Sebring. You can continue to follow their experiences on their Facebook page here. You can also read more about their mission here.
Students particpating from the University are Teagan Skunberg, Kim Bandy, Rebecca Nord, Austin Adams, and Johnny Olson. Their advisor is University Chaplin Candace Adams.
