VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Great Plains STEM Education Center at Valley City State University is welcoming several people to the campus for the 2018 North Dakota Spring Collaborative Conference of the NDCTM and NDSTA.

The theme is looking to the future of STEAM Education and discovering ways to “build the bridges.” The conference features several nationally known speakers, as well as presenters from across the state.

One of the KEYNOTE speakers is Curtis Chandler addressing “The Fun-Factor: How to Create a ‘Playful’ Pedagogy” What motivates and engages today’s young people to learn and to persist in challenging tasks?

The two day conference starts Friday and runs through Saturday with several classes both days on the VCSU campus.
