JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center (JREC) is hosting a Women’s Business Summit today that will provide a wealth of information, networking and experience.

The summit is being held at the University of Jamestown. JREC Executive Director Katherine Roth says since they’ve established themselves in August 2017, they’ve continued to grow into a more regional presence in Barnes, Dickey, Foster, Griggs, LaMoure, Logan, McIntosh, Stutsman, and Wells counties.

She says the planned summit will be good for women all across the region.

Roth encourages women who are either in a business or interested in starting a business to join the summit.

Roth reports that over 100 individuals have registered for the event. Roth says the summit in Jamestown will be a chance for women leaders to gain a better understanding of today’s business practice and establish more networking opportunities.

Erin Bemis, speaker for Google’s Get Your Business Online program, will be providing an overview of digital presence and using Google Business technology to expand into online marketing potential and cybersecurity.

Other speakers include Summer Jacobs with Studio North in Bismarck, Mary Jo Van Horn, founder of Eliminating STRESS with the Power of Thought, and commercial loan officer Courtney Van Dyke.

Roth says there will also be over 15 booths at the Reiland Fine Arts Center for anyone to come view. Interested individuals can call 701-253-4112 for more information.
