JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Petitions are circulating for three open seats on the Stutsman County Commission.

He most recently served as market president of the Jamestown Bank Forward and continues to serve in a consultant role.

Cichos is a Jamestown native, graduating from Jamestown High School and Jamestown College, now University of Jamestown. He live sin Jamestown with his wife Carolyn.

Cichos joins Jamestown City Councilman Ramone Gumke in the newest challengers for the county commission. Current commissioners Craig Neys and Denny Ova have both taken out petitions to run for another term.

“Commissioner Dale Marks has stated he will not be seeking reelection,” stated Stutsman County Auditor Nicole Meland. “Commissioner Neys has already returned his petition I believe. Each candidate needs to collect 157 signatures to be placed on the June ballot.”

The three open seats will be up for election in the June 12th primary.
