JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center annual gala was not only a success, but it was also a record fundraiser for the group.
Jamestown Arts Center Executive Director Larry Kopp reports that the non-profit center relies heavily on fundraising. He reports that between 20 to 25 percent of their annual income is earned during the gala. The 70’s themed gala was a big hit, bringing in a record amount of money for the Arts Center.
Kopp says gala participants really got into the theme of the gala.
Because of the success, Kopp says he’ll be able to focus on bringing in more quality exhibits and events without worrying about funding them.
