REYNOLDS, N.D. (KFGO) – One person has died of injuries suffered in a crash on I-29 south of Grand Forks. It happened around 7:30 a.m. Tues.
State Patrol Lt. Troy Hischer says a pickup rear-ended a state DOT plow truck that was stopped along the northbound lane of the interstate about a half-mile north of the Reynolds exit. A 35 year-old man from Fargo later died at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. His name has not been released.
Hischer says the truck was parked on the left shoulder, protecting a patrol car that was investigating another crash. The truck was clearly marked, with its lights and flashers on. The driver of the plow-truck was not hurt.
The injured SUV driver was taken to a Altru Hospital with unknown injuries.
