YPSILANTI, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called out Thursday afternoon for a snowmobile fire in Ypsilanti.
According to the report, JRFD crews were called out around 2 PM at 305 Jefferson Avenue. The owner informed the department that the fire had been extinguished and minimal damage was reported. The incident happened when the running snowmobile was being filled with gas. Three units and six firefighters were dispatched.
The department was on scene for around 30 minutes.
