VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A former Barnes County jailer is facing three felony charges after gunshots were fired between two vehicles on Highway One in Barnes County earlier this month.
According to the report, Sean Lee Blaskowski (Blass-cow-skee) was at a party in Litchville when he got into a physical altercation with another man. During the altercation Blaskowski allegedly brandished a handgun and threatened party goers, resulting in several people to flee the residence. One of the fleeing vehicles was driving back to Valley City on Highway 1 when a second vehicle with Blaskowski inside produced a handgun and fired four rounds between the two vehicles. No one was injured.
Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin said, Blaskowski resigned shortly after he was placed on unpaid administrative leave following the February 18th incident.
