GRAND FORKS, N.D. -(NewsDakota.com) – Fargo Davies moved into the semifinals of the State High School Hockey Tournament with an 8-0 win over Jamestown Thursday afternoon at The Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks.
Taylor Parrett led the Eagles with 2 goals and an assist. Cade Stibbe, Austin Schmidt, Jacob Mathson, Jamieson McVicar, Devon Kelly and Tyler Kleven all had two points as 14 different players had at least one point for the Eagles.
Jared Winter stopped all 13 shots that he saw for his fourth shutout of the season.
Matthew Schneider made 47 saves for Jamestown who were shutout for only the second time this season.
The Blue Jays will face Grafton/Park River Friday at 11:00am in the consolation bracket.The Spoilers lost to Bismarck Century 6-1 in the other afternoon game.
Jamestown beat Grafton/Park River 5-2 in the first game of the season.
