JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission on Tuesday moved to hire Nicole Meland as their next county auditor/chief operating officer.
Meland has served as interim auditor since Casey Bradley resigned in August due to personal reasons. An offer letter is being prepared with terms and specifics as required by county policy.
Meland will have a six-month probation period and will receive $97,710 as the new auditor.
She was one of six applicants for the job.
