JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The local SCORE chapter has been providing free business mentoring services to area entrepreneurs for several years.
The SCORE Association, previously known as the Service Corps of Retired Executives, presents business workshops and seminars to those looking to start a business or own a local business.
Ken Astrup is a member of SCORE in Jamestown. He pointed out that individuals have great ideas, but have trouble getting the idea to the next stages.
On February 20th, SCORE will be holding a free Small Business Financing Workshop. Astrup says several questions on startup financing, expansion financing and managing cash flow will be discussed by Jamestown community leaders.
Panelists include Corry Shevlin, Stacy Bowerman, Alan Haut, Kelly Rachel, Dave Smette and Peter Shaw.
