Rose (Schatz) Mitzel died Friday evening, February, 16, 2018 at Ava Maria Village, Jamestown, ND with her family by her side.

Rose Schatz was born November 28, 1916, in a sod house on the family farm near Zeeland, ND, the daughter of John and Margaret (Seiler) Schatz.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2018 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND.

Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the church.

Rosary: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the church with a prayer service to follow.

Interment: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley.
