VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Playing at home for the last time this year, Valley City boys’ basketball fell to Fargo North 84-57. The Spartans led the game from start to finish and won the season series with The Hi-Liners.

Valley City couldn’t find an answer for the hot shooting Fargo North. They were 63% from the field and 11 of 21 from 3 point range. The Hi-Liner shot 41% with 7 3’s.

Luther Zeltinger was VCHS’s led scorer 14 points, Matthew Lyter scored 13 and Mitchel Taylor 8.

The Spartan’s Hyatt Martineau poured in 17 points. Sawyer Kenney and Carson Critchley each added 15 points.

Fargo North improves to 6-11 in The EDC. Valley City drops to 2-16, they play again Friday at Fargo Davies.
