JAMESTOWN, N.D. (UJ) – University of Jamestown accounting students are again offering the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for low-income and elderly taxpayers for free.
The volunteers will prepare and electronically file federal and state tax returns by appointment on Saturdays, February 17, 24, and March 3 on the University of Jamestown campus in the Unruh-Sheldon building, room 136.
Appointments are required and can be made by calling 701-253-4468. If there is no answer, please leave a message including your name, phone number, and the best time to return your call. Appointments can also be made by sending e-mail to vita@uj.edu.
