VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County Historical Society Lecture Series Season 19 Presents: Susan Milender-Toppen “WWI Nutrition: Then and Now” 7PM Thursday February 15th at the Barnes County Museum.

New information becomes available in our constantly changing world of nutrition. Even with all of the new technology and advances of our time, we cannot forget wisdom from the past. This lesson examines U.S. Food Administration guidelines from World War I and compares them with present-day U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
