JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was the right place at the right time for Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther.
The Jamestown Fire Department was called at around 6:20 PM Thursday night after Chief Ruether noticed a charter bus filling up at the Sooper Stop in Northeast Jamestown was spilling diesel fuel.
Ruether notified the driver, who was inside the running bus, that he was spilling fuel.
Around 15 gallons were spilled next to the pump. Chief Reuther says they were on the scene for around one hour with firefighters remaining on stand by at the fire hall.
