FREDERICK, S.D. (NewsDakota.com)- With two games remaining in the regular season, the Oakes High boys basketball team has fallen back to a .500 record, after losing to Leola/Frederick 78-61 Thursday night.

The Tornadoes (8-8) only managed to have the lead once, a two point advantage with about two and a half minutes in the first half, but found themselves down four at half. The deficit became 13 by the end of the third, and the Titans (9-6) had a lead as large as 21.

Tanner Geffre had a game high 22 points in the victory. Tyler Voightman had 16 points for Oakes, who lost Max Muggli to a left ankle injury in the second half.
