LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- LaMoure-Litchville/Marion broke the game open in the 3rd quarter and overpowered Medina-Pingree/Buchanan 69-53 in a Region 3 boys’ basketball game Thursday night in LaMoure.

The Thunder and Loboes went point for point in the first 16 minutes with LLM coming out on top in the first and second quarters. It was 33-30 at the half. Things shifted in the 3rd quarter when The Loboes opened with a 7-0 run. They’d go on to outscore MPB 18-7 in the period.

Twice they’d pushed their lead to 20 in the fourth quarter, the last time going up 57-37 with 5:49 remaining in the game.

Jamison Kramer headed LLM’s charge, he poured in 22 points. Teammate Caleb Hirschkorn scored 17 and Shay Ness 15.

Preston Martin paced MPB with 18 points, 10 came in the second half. Mike Thomas and Braxton Heinle both had 15.

With one game left in the regular season The Loboes are now 12-6, they play next Thursday at South Border. The Thunder fall to 2-14, they are also back in action Thursday traveling to EKM.
