JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Giving Hearts Day is scheduled for February 8th, so NewsDakota.com will highlight a variety of the different non-profit organizations that will be benefiting from the upcoming 24-hour online donation day.

Established in 1984, FirstChoice Clinic became a non-profit clinic that provides education and health services to empower individuals to make life-affirming choices. The organization serves adults with unexpected pregnancies and connects them to experts in the medical field for assistance.

Development Director Shelle Aberle says they’ve continued this non-profit service for more than 30 years. She says they have sites in Bismarck, Fargo, and Devils Lake, but operate directly out of Jamestown.

Aberle says while they don’t have a location in Jamestown or other parts of the state, they continue to serve North Dakota as well as parts of South Dakota and Minnesota.

FirstChoice also provides materials, classes and help for anything regarding pregnancy. Aberles pointed out that the funds they raise during Giving Hearts Day will help them with their daily operations.
