OAKES (NewsDakota.com Lisbon High senior Elizabeth Lyons had a game high 27 points, as the Broncos defeated Oakes Monday night 56-35.

Lyons had 11 at the end of the first half for the Broncos (14-4) who were up 12 at intermission; thanks in part to a 9-0 run in the first quarter. Jamie Reinke added another 12 points; all via three point baskets.

The Tornadoes (10-9) saw Nicole Schmitz score 13 points in the defeat.
