An official statement released by GCR Tire & Service Corporation states:
GCR Tires & Service continually evaluates its business strategy to ensure it is aligned with the needs of the fleet customers. After careful consideration and thorough business performance assessment, GCR made the difficult decision to close its store in Jamestown, ND effective January 30, 2018.
This decision will allow GCR to optimize its overall commercial tire and service distribution network in the region. It will also ensure that the business is servicing fleet customers in this region in the most effective and cost-efficient way.
GCR is working to minimize the impact of the closure on employees, customers and the community, and is committed to supporting them throughout this transition.
