FORBES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- A Forbes man is facing two Class B Felony counts of Aggravated assault against a child under 12 years old.
49 year old Robert Miner was arrested without incident in Forbes and transported to the Stutsman County Correctional Center in Jamestown Tuesday afternoon.
A criminal complaint issued earlier this month alleges Miner had assaulted a nine year-old girl twice on separate occasions. The first incident occurred on December 22, 2017 when Miner kicked the child’s legs; resulting in bruising. The second incident, on January 9 says Miner put the girl’s hand into hot gravy; which lead to blisters.
The Dickey County Sheriff’s office is being assisted by the James River Special Operations Team, North Dakota Highway Patrol and State Bureau of Criminal Investigation in the ongoing investigation.
