STEELE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Medina-Pingree/Buchanan girls basketball team held Kidder County to one fourth quarter field goal to pull out a 43-36 win to stay unbeaten in Region 3/District 6. The Kidder County boys held MPB to three field goals in the first half to cruise to a 59-26 win Tuesday night.

The Thunder outscored the Wolves 16-5 in the fourth quarter on the way to their tenth win in a row.
Amanda Allen hit two three pointers down the stretch to help the Thunder improve to 16-2 overall and 5-0 in the region. Allen and Jadyn Pollert each had 12 points for the Thunder. Megan Moser had 10 points and Halle Uehran had seven rebounds and six assists.
Grace Benz had team highs with 11 points and five rebounds for the Wolves who fall to 13-5 overall and 4-1 in the Region.

The Wolves jumped out to a 15-0 lead and led 21-4 after the first quarter on their way to a third straight win.
Justin Six and Austin Schmidt each hgad 13 points for Kidder County. Gage Pfaff added 11 points. Schmidt had seven rebounds and Elijah Fallgatter had eight rebounds and eight assists.
Mike Thomas led the Thunder with eight points and had five rebounds.
Kidder County is now 9-6 overall and 4-1 in Region 3. Medina-Pingree/Buchanan falls to 1-12 overall and 0-4 in the Region.
