LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- It was another classic contest between the LaMoure-Litchville/Marion and Oakes boys basketball teams on Tuesday night. In the end, it was the hometown Loboes who were able to hold off Oakes 64-61.

The game was a two point advantage for Oakes at the end of the first, before the Loboes (9-5, 2-2 Class B District 5) went on a 9-0 run to start the second. The Tornadoes (7-6, 1-3) rallied late, before LLM took a four point lead into intermission.

The end of the third saw Oakes with a one point lead, and in the fourth, the visitors did have a chance to win or tie the game on the last two possessions, but turnovers on both possessions sealed their fate.

Jamison Kramer had a game high 25 points in the victory for LLM. Tyler Voightman lead Oakes with 18 points.
