JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For about 10 years, Prairie Paws Rescue has provided “fur-ever” homes to more than 2,000 animals.
All of this has been done through volunteers and foster homes. Kaye John is President and Co-Founder of the group. She says it’s a very unique program they have that services the area.
Kaye says because the non-profit service helps so many animals, they’re always looking for different volunteers and donations to assist their cause. She says the support from the community and other organizations has helped them greatly.
On February 3rd, Prairie Paws will hold their bi-annual “Raise the Woof” Comedy Show. The fundraiser is held every other year, with the “Pawsta Palooza” taking place in other years. Tickets in advance are $15 and show will be at the Gladstone Inn & Suites.
