VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City boys and girls head south for a doubleheader tonight against the Wahpeton Huskies.

The boys lost to the Huskies 76-48 when the two met in Valley City on December 12th. Head Coach Dallas Dockter says the Hi-Liners have improved on one major part of the game.

 

Valley City has dropped the last four games with two by a total of three points. Dockter says in order to win those close games, its starts at the beginning.

 

 

The Hi-Liners boys are 1-9 in the EDC and 3-10 overall.

The girls beat Wahpeton 62-48 back in December and are 5-7 overall and 4-6 in the EDC. The Hi-Liners have won three straight games for the first time since the 2013-2014 season when they won eight in a row.
