FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City wrestling is entering the home stretch of their season. Just 5 duals are left on the calendar, 3 of those will count in The Eastern Dakota Conference Standings.

Since suffering a 47-20 loss to West Fargo The Hi-Liners have bounced back with a 59-12 rout of Devils Lake and earned a 4th place finish at the Lisbon tournament this past weekend. Valley City owns a 5-1 EDC record and sits in second place, 3 more conference wins secures them not only a spot in state but also the east’s second seed.

With the team’s 3rd consecutive trip to state within reach, coach Aaron Larson wants to make sure his team’s remained focused on their up coming dual with Fargo South

The Bruins are 9th in the region, their lone win came against last place Sheyenne. South has struggled to fill weight classes this year but has been routinely strong in the lower weight classes

Thursday’s dual will begin at 7pm, coverage on KOVC starts around 6:45. The dual will also be video streamed at NewsDakota.com
