N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown has received an update from Ralph Friebel with the Recycling Center of North Dakota.

During a committee meeting Tuesday, Mayor Katie Andersen informed the public and council that Friebel was confident in a March 1st start date for curbside recycling.

Mayor Andersen says a letter has been sent to Friebel, describing that services were expected February 1st and if they did not begin then, the city would begin default proceedings.

City Administrator Jeff Fuchs stated that Friebel was currently operating and accepting recycling during regular operating hours. He expects to continue operating at his location now until his small business loan is approved so he can move into the new location.
