N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Larimore held Griggs County Central to one field goal in the second half and used a 14-0 run the start the third quarter in a 48-18 win Tuesday night in Region 3 girls basketball.

Haley Verkuehlen scored nine of her game high 15 points in the third quarter as the Polar Bears outscored the Cougars 26-5 in the second half. She added a team high 11 rebounds. Trinidy Larsen had nine points. Ivy Davis and Macie Yahna each had eight points.

Kayla Kenninger led the Cougars with nine points. Jenna Larson had a team high 11 rebounds.

Larimore is now 6-9 on the year while the Cougars fall to 0-15.
