JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A business that has provided transportation for the past 13 years has closed.
Last Leg Taxi made the announcement on social media on January 3rd. The business was originally opened by David “Left Leg” Lausch in 2005 when it was just him and a van. Their fleet had since expanded to 5 taxicabs including a 15 passenger van and a classic 1970 Ford Galaxie.
The business was owned and operated by F&B Transportation in Jamestown for the past 7 years.
“It kind of happened out of the blue,” stated Nancy Miller, Business Manager for Ringdahl EMS. “There were a lot of different reasons. We tried to find a buyer, but couldn’t so we just closed up.”
No word on what will happen to the vehicles used for the business. This leaves Jamestown Taxi and James River Public Transit as the only other modes of transportation in Jamestown.
