N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department could not locate any fires after being called out Thursday morning.

The call came in just before 8:00 AM this morning. Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther says the reporting party stated they had seen flames coming from a building near their 11th Avenue NE 1600 Block apartment.

Chief Ruether says when crews arrived to the area, they searched for any signs of fire or smoke for around 15 minutes.

Ruether estimates that the person reporting the fire could have possibly seen a reflection off of a window or something along those lines.
