GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Mayor Katie Andersen joined 39 others named to the annual Prairie Business Magazine 40 Under 40 list.

According to the magazine, they recognize 40 of the top business professionals under the age of 40 in the northern plains.

“These inspiring and dedicated professionals come from a wide range of industries and have made significant impacts in their chosen professions, industries and communities,” the magazine reports. “They are entrepreneurs, industry experts, executives and nonprofit leaders; they are business owners, patent holders, government officers and community trendsetters.”

selected 40 were featured in the December issue of Prairie Business Magazine.

Katie has served as the mayor of Jamestown since 2010. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from South Dakota State University and is a downtown business owner with her husband Ryan. They have two children, Camron (11) and Keira(8).
