CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A remote monitoring company plans to set up in Valley City and hire about 25 people.

Preventice Technologies is based in Rochester, MN. Executive Vice President of Operations Tim Miller said Valley City will be a good fit for the company. Brad Krueger is Vice President of Customer Experience. He talked about what the product does.

Valley City Barnes County Director of Development Jennifer Feist said the company will be located in the Regional Technology Center. The minimum wage will be $15 an hour.
Feist gave a presentation to the Valley City Commissioner during their regular meeting on December 19th. The following is audio from that presentation.

The Valley City Commission unanimously approved of a request by the Valley City Barnes County Development Corporation to use $316,000 from the sales tax fund for economic development to assist with the location of Preventice Technologies to Valley City.

Preventice, brings together mobile, tablet, cloud, and other remote monitoring technologies to address healthcare needs.
