VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) About 400 cattle were showcased during this years North Star Classic held December 1-3 at the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center in Valley City.

This year’s Grand Prize Winners during the North Star Classic Cattlemen’s Ball and Auction were Randy Huschka of Hope, ND and Bev Vollmer of Wing, ND. The two opted to accept the cash prize of $2,500 during the December 1st event held at the Valley City Eagles Club.

And congratulations to this year’s livestock honoree life-long Barnes County resident Cal Schaefer, a long-time worker and supporter of the North Dakota Winter Show and the North Star Classic.
