N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The New Rockford Sheyenne Rockets girls’ basketball team outscored Barnes County North 16-8 in the 4th quarter to come away with a 53-36 win Tuesday night in Wimbledon.

Heading into the second half The Rockets were up 23-15 and led 35-28 after the 3rd quarter. Tabitha Muncy led The Bison with 12 points, Clara Wieland had 6 with Ashley Samek and Ashley McFadgen scoring 5 each. Carli Lies and Hannah Haley both collected 15 points to lead New Rockford Sheyenne.

Barnes County North plays their final game of 2017 Thursday night in Ashley against South Border.
