JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The public is encouraged to attend a North Dakota Department of Transportation open house on December 13th in Jamestown to discuss a statewide active and public transportation plan for North Dakota.
The NDDOT states that the plan will “review and identify existing and emerging needs and recommend strategies for the future of biking, walking, rolling, and transit across the state.”
This will give residents a chance to provide input on the vision, challenges, and opportunities for these systems in the future. Representatives of the NDDOT and its consultants will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.
In November 2017, five Public Open Houses took place in Fargo, Grand Forks, Williston, Minot, and Bismarck. Two additional Public Open Houses are being held in December in Dickinson and Devils Lake.
