N.D. (KFGO) – Brooke Crews, charged with the kidnapping and death of 22-year-old Savanna Greywind, is expecting to change her plea.
Crews, 38, of Fargo, originally pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping and giving false information to officers but, on Monday, her attorney’s filed a change of plea hearing. The felony change of plea hearing is scheduled for December 11, 2017 in Cass County Court.
Crews’ boyfriend, 32-year-old William Hoehn is also charged in the case and has pleaded not guilty.
Greywind was eight months pregnant when she was last seen on August 19th, 2017. Greywind’s newborn baby was found in Crews’ apartment days after her disappearance. Crews and Hoehn lived in the same apartment building as Greywind. Greywind’s body was later found in the Red River.
Bail is set for each suspect at $2 million cash. They are facing life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Hoehn’s next date is set for December 6th.
