FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – A 13-year old runaway is safe and her boyfriend’s grandmother is in jail.

53-year old Margaret Hansen is charged with giving false information, harboring a runaway and hindering an investigation. Carlyse Ditch was reported missing by police Wednesday night. Her 16-year boyfriend told investigators he last saw Ditch at his apartment earlier that day.

Detectives searched the apartment and surrounding area’s early Thanksgiving Day but only found her coat, shoes and cellphone in his apartment. Investigators later found out the grandmother had the runaway and agreed to turn her over to police. West Fargo Police Sgt. Jason Dura:
