VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Winter Show is gearing up for some fun events that will kick-off this coming weekend and run through December.
On Saturday, November 18th Ole’s Attic will host the first ever “Junk in the Valley” inside the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center. “Junk in the Valley” will run from 9am to 6pm. Admission is $3 per person or $10 for family limited to 4 people per family. At “Junk in the Valley” there will be Antiques, Artwork, Farm Décor, Handmade items, Jewelry, Repurposed Junk, Upcycled, Vintage, and Raw Junk for sale.
Early Bird shopping goes from 7am to 9am and the admission is $10 per person. This includes a complimentary Bloody Mary or Mimosa (limited number of early bird tickets are available at the door). On Friday, December 1st, the North Dakota Winter show will be hosting the 18th Annual North Star Classic. The Open Show starts at 8a.m. The Cattlemen’s Ball and Sale will begin at the Eagles Club around 7:30pm. The schedule is subject to change.
On Saturday, December 2nd, is the Pen Shows and Sale Day at 8 am, there will be the Judging Clinic hosted by NDSU that will end at 10 am. From 9:30am to noon Pen Shows will be held in the Frontier Arena followed by the Supreme Pen of three selections. At noon the “Fairest of Them All” show, located in the Main Arena. The Angus Sale will begin at 1:30 pm, with the Hereford Sale to follow starting at 3pm and the Club Calf Sale beings at 4:30 all in the Frontier arena.
Also on Saturday December 2nd, is the North Star Classic Dinner Show that starts at 6:30 which is held inside the Eagles Club. Williams & Ree, AKA “The Indian & The White Guy” will be the entertainment. Tickets for the Dinner Show are being sold at the North Dakota Winter Show office {700 7th St SE in Valley City, ND}.
