JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the Young Professionals of Jamestown recently presented a Business of the Month Award to Vivacious Salon for their outstanding customer service and continued commitment to the community.
The business is located at 2403 US Hwy 281, Suite A, in Jamestown.
“Savanna Sprouse, owner and operator, and stylists Cat Ronan, Genesis McGregor, Annie Mitchell, Emily Buckeye-Olsen and A.J. Clark along with the Chamber Young Professionals of Jamestown, and members of the Chamber Ambassadors were on hand for the presentation,” the chamber reports.
According to the nomination, the following exemplifies why Vivacious Salon was chosen:
“The owner of the business took a huge leap of faith to open a salon to support her friends and former JC Penny co-workers. Each of the stylists employed are from the former JC Penny salon, and they are willing to employ others if/when necessary. The space was renovated and went through inspections all while the stylists were unemployed for a brief period. Now that they have opened, the stylists each say hello when you walk in and share stories. It’s like a big family conversation. It’s great! One experience I had is when I had a color and cut service appointment when I wasn’t feeling well. Both Emily and AJ who were working offered me water, cool towels, and even a ride home. I was very grateful! Great new facility, looks modern and simple, and very friendly service all the time”
The Young Professionals of Jamestown honor businesses that provide superior customer service, exhibit community spirit and provide a positive economic impact to the community. Vivacious Salon, along with all of the other monthly winners, will be considered for Business of the Year to be awarded at the Chamber’s annual banquet in January.
