N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown Theater Department will present their production of the 1944 musical “On the Town” this November.

Director Mike McIntyre says the University typically kicks off their performance year with a musical. “On the Town” is a musical with music written by Leonard Bernstein, which introduced several popular and classic songs including “New York, New York”, “Lonely Town”, and “I Can Cook, Too.”

McIntyre says the show will be very high energy and feature several dance numbers.

The show has been set for November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at the University of Jamestown with show times of 7:30 PM each night. Ticket prices will be $10 and can be reserved by visiting uj.edu or e-mailing tickets@uj.edu. Below are photos taken by Cheryl McIntyre.
