VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Great Plains Food Bank has benefited greatly from the efforts of Dan and Bea Faust since 2010. The couple has grown tons of vegetable produce on their farm northwest of Valley City.

The retired Lutheran pastor has grown squash and other vegetables for the Great Plains Food Bank from 2010 to 2017.

Valley City State University students and many other community volunteers have helped the Faust’s pick the locally grown produce and load it into trucks for distribution by the Great Plains Food Bank.

Over a six year period more than 485,000 pounds of food has been donated with an economic value of more than $625,000. More details are listed below by clicking Faust Contributions.
