N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Down 34-22 with about nine minutes left to play in the game, the Tornadoes score two unanswered touchdowns to come from behind to beat the Imperials 36-34.  No. 1 Cavalier improves to 10-0, No. 5 NGS ends their season at 9-1.

Junior QB Jamison Fettig for the Imperials was hurt in the second quarter on a 2-point conversion try with about four minutes left to play in the first half and did not return.  Junior Nathan Weigel took over at quarterback for the rest of the second quarter and the entire second half.

Senior Quarterback Austin Urlaub for Cavalier was 7-13 passing for 150 yards and four touchdowns.  Nathan Weigel was 4-9 passing for 55 yards and one TD and he also had 22 carries for 190 yards and three touchdowns.  Before Fettig was hurt, he was 3-6 passing for 145 yards and one touchdown.

Cavalier will host Wyndmere/Lidgerwood on Saturday, Nov. 4th in the semifinals of the 9-man football playoffs.
