VEGAS (NewsDakota.com) – The Sheyenne Care Center employees achieved a milestone at a national convention earlier this month in Las Vegas.

Administrator, Craig Christianson says its exciting to announce to family members and the community that the Sheyenne Care Center staff in Valley City has achieved the Silver Quality Award.

He said this achievement was based on resident quality related improvement outcomes that the staff in Valley City had to achieve. He added, this is their award for the hard work and the loving care they prove to all our residents.

The Quality board shows that the Sheyenne Care Center is the only facility in North Dakota to achieve the Silver Quality Award.

This award was presented at the AHCA/NCAL national convention with Tom Meyer the Quality/CNA supervisor who received the award on behalf of all the Sheyenne Care Center employees at the convention in Las Vegas.

Christianson said the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program provides a pathway for providers like the Sheyenne Care Center’s Long-Term Services toward performance excellence.
