VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Construction on the new addition of the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center is underway in Valley City.
North Dakota Winter Show manger Dawn Riley talked about the work that is being done now.
Earlier this year, Riley said the Valley City-Barnes County Development Corporation purchase 2.6 acres of land owned by the Winter Show east of the Regional Technology Center for future development. She said that money is being used for the construction project.
Once complete, the front entrance of the North Dakota Winter Show will be expanded by 3,360 square feet for offices, an atrium and a new box office. The project is tentatively set to be completed by mid-February of 2018.
