N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown woman received non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle near Steele Thursday.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that Maryette Ost, 58, was walking along I-94 at around 6:15 AM when she attempted to cross the eastbound roadway east of Steele. Ost was struck by a westbound vehicle, which did not stop.

Ost was transported to Sanford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
