N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hundreds of children between the ages of 0 and 12 are expected at Victory Lutheran’s annual Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 31st.
The event, which has been held for around 14 years, provides a safe place for younger children to trick-or-treat in a fun space. Victory Lutheran Youth Minister Suzanne Bowman says she and her husband Shawn started the event when the first moved to Jamestown.
Bowman says the event has been met with growing success, reporting that they expect anywhere from 500 to 700 kids to participate. Trunk or Treat will have individuals parking their cars in Victory Lutheran Church’s parking lot and distributing candy to the kids.
A carnival will be held prior to the event starting at 5:30 PM. Everything is free and open to the public. Victory Lutheran Church is located at 510 9th Avenue SW.
