MADISON, S.D. (PlayNorthStar.com) – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced its volleyball players-of-the-week, the tenth edition of the weekly honors were announced Monday by the conference office. Clarissa Olson of Valley City State (N.D.) was honored as the Attacker-of-the-Week. Amelia Grahn of Viterbo (Wis.) was chosen as the Setter-of-the-Week. Elise Peterson of Jamestown (N.D.) was picked as the Defender-of-the-Week.

Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week
Clarissa Olson – Valley City State (N.D.) – 5’9″, Junior, middle blocker – Valley City, N.D. – Olson hit a blistering .639 for the week and racked up 24 kills as Valley City State (N.D.) split a pair of North Star volleyball home matches. She added seven block assists. Olson had 15 kills and just committed 1 error in four-set victory over Presentation (S.D.). In a loss to No. 23-ranked Bellevue (Neb.), Olson had nine kills and did not commit an error in 14 swings. For the week, she averaged 3.0 kills and 0.8 block assists per set for the Vikings.
