VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- After a 10 day absence The Hi-Liners picked up right where they left off extending their winning streak to 4 matches, beating Fargo South 25-14,25-12,25-16. Its the second time this season Valley City has been able to string together 4 consecutive wins, their record is now 16-10 and 12-4 in The Eastern Dakota Conference.

Set 1 started with a 4-0 run for Valley City. The Bruins never led but were able to tie it twice at 8 and 11. The Hi-Liners broke the 2nd tie with a 14-3 run to get the win. It was back and forth early in the 2nd set, Cali Halgrimson came to serve with Valley City up 11-9. The score was 19-10 when South earned their next side out. The Bruins jumped to a 5-0 advantage in the final set, The Hi-Liners roared back to tie it at 10. Once they took the lead they’d let their opponent get no closer than 6 to close out the sweep.

With having to adjust to the routine change with both the game and practice schedule head coach Jill Taylor said she wasn’t sure how the team would respond
